 Whether we'll run Nan first, or Sukhothai, either (or both) clockwise or anti-clockwise, all TBA.    However, all highlights of both loops will be included as below
Arrival & Airport Transfer, Welcome Dinner, Day Ride, Cultural Dinner & Show, followed by;

Nan Loop; Chiang Mai, Phayao, Nan (2 nights), Uttaradit, 

During this loop you will take in some of the most spectacular scenery in Thailand and ride some simply amazing roads. We'll see a few attractions; the occasional ancient temple murals and a weaving village, but on the whole just some of the most spectacular roads you have ever ridden. And best of all, they're so far out of the way, there's no other tourists; just hours of endless fun!

Day 1: Arrival, Motorcycles allocated, Welcome Dinner, night on the town!
Day 2: Safety Induction followed by group's preferred Day Ride
Day 3: 431Km, Chiang Mai to Mae Sot,,
Day 4: 211Km; Mae Sot to Umphang
Day 5: 284Km; Umphang to Tak
Day 6: 89Km Tak to Sukhothai. Afternoon around Sukhothai "Old Town", sacked by the Burmese as mentioned above. Quite something when consider was built over 800 years ago?!
Day 7: 342Km; Sukhothai to Khao Kho
Day 8: Khao Kho - Nan
Day 9: 441km Nan Day Ride
Day 10: Return to Chiang Mai, farewell dinner, night on the lash!

The Sukhothai Loop (Tour D) Overview: Chiang Mai, Mae Sariang, Mae Sot, Umphang, Tak, Sukhothai

For a brief but brilliant period (1238–1376), the walled city of Sukhothai presided as the capital of Thailand, creating the legacy of a unified nation of Thai peoples and a phenomenal artistic heritage. Now an impressive assembly of elegant ruins, the Old City, has been preserved as Sukhothai Historical Park, one of Thailand's most popular attractions.

Following the border with Myanmar you almost feeling as if you’re there! Different faces and tribal dress make you realise that this certainly is the-road-less-travelled. This is certainly the "long way round” to this most famous of Thai cities, but you'll be glad to have experienced roads and scenery most people will never get the chance to see.
