SAVING YOU MONEY...!
We all work long & hard for those few little treats in life, doing without something to afford another. TMT is synonymous with Good Value. Please accept our apologies if the pricing tables below appear overly complicated: However, In order to save you as much cash as possible we've tiered our prices, both seasonally and economically. Rather than banging out a "One-Price-Fits-All" rate (with cash customers supporting the entire system), we prefer to offer our guests as many options as possible, and consequently offering a budget for every wallet? Don't hesitate to drop me a line if I can help clarify anything for you / work out your personal price, it'll be my pleasure
Beginning with Three-Tier Pricing: Thailand's Three Seasons, Low being quiet & least expensive, while Peak Season usually requires booking 6 months or more in advance? 3 Riders Minimum Required to Open a Tour, or 2 Riders + 25% Surcharge etc.
LOW/HIGH/PEAK SEASONS
Peak Season with the best weather runs November – February, Low (Monsoon) Season July/August/September, weather totally by luck of the draw. Lastly: By Default High Season occupies those remaining months, March, April, May, June and October, Certainly better weather guaranteed than through the Monsoon Season, but may still experience a few scattered showers
Currency / Exchange Rates
Our prices are in Thai Baht (THB), we used to price in £GBP & U$D until the last financial crash (2008, Thailand unfortunately was unaffected) where we could have written to everyone explaining we now required (50%-100%) more from them, however I felt a contract had been made and consequently chose to honour it which nearly broke us (never claimed to be a hard-headed businessman, lol), in THB they'll stay for the foreseeable future. The Baht is well overdue a crash as it happens, I'm praying for it but for some unknown reason the powers that be here continue to prop it up. Fingers crossed though!
This does also save you money though, all those here pricing in U$D have built-in the 5%-10% currency conversion, 1.5% Debit Card and 3% Credit card Business Rates we're all charged by various financial institutions, pocketing the excess after talking you into remitting by bank/credit transfer? We don't. We use Wise for international transfers, holding accounts in USA, UK, Aus and a few more countries - so you only have to perform a local transfer from your bank to ours, costs nothing. Wise charge less than 1% commission and around $1-2 service charge per transaction. Unsure about your own bank but for example Bar**ay's in the UK (who don't even post their buying/selling rates on their website, only mid-market rates) happily sting their customers at least 5% commission plus either a £35 or £55 international transfer fee. Consequently on your £1,500 ($2,000) tour you'll immediately save £100/$150 simply by taking advantage of our Wise setup. Don't get me started about PayPal & their business charges, well over 10% altogether if you choose to remit by credit card!! Wise will also guarantee the quoted tate from 24 to 72 hours.
TAXES/DISCOUNTS
Thailand charges VAT at 7% which is already included in our prices and displayed on your invoice. It irks me somewhat when these hotel booking sites don't include taxes, you've already performed the mental gymnastics regarding overall cost, hit the "Book Now" button & it's invariably more than expected? You won't find that here.
Discounts are many & varied: from a coupon (code) in your favourite biking magazine's advert (time sensitive) to how many riders (we're able to open a tour/break even at 3 Riders, first discount 3% at 6 Riding, 7.5% for 10, 10% for 15 etc, maximum 25%) and advance booking structure with 2.5% at 6-12 months, 5% 1y-2yrs and 10% when tour booked (& confirmation deposit paid) over 2yrs before tour commencing date.
There's also a little built-in to look after our partners who bring us guests on a regular basis; don't knock them for it, we see how much strife they put up with on the whole from all sides, being messed around from pillar to post, chasing around after friends on both our your and our behalf, they deserve a drink or two out of it!
